Check / Money order
Check Payments is a payment option that does not require an online payment. Orders placed using this method are put On Hold until the payment has cleared externally (outside of WooCommerce). As the store owner, you must confirm that the check has cleared before you process the order within WooCommerce. It is essential to verify payment has been received before shipping the items and marking the order as Complete.
Saved Payment Methods
For payment gateways that allow saved methods, customers can manage these from their account, with options to set a default or remove saved methods. However, these specific gateways support enhanced saved methods, which include extra features. Primarily, these items can be given nicknames (like “Personal” or “Business”), making it simpler for your customers to select the right item at checkout. A nickname can be added by clicking the “edit” action for that saved method.
Cash on Delivery
Cash on Delivery (COD) is a payment option that allows customers to pay in person rather than online. Any order using COD will be marked as “Processing” until the payment is physically collected upon delivery. As the store owner, you must verify that the payment has been received before changing the order status to “Complete” in WooCommerce.
